We present an opportunity to develop retail, office and service premises at Tjarnarvellir 1 in Hafnarfjörður. The possible total size of the building is 10,000 m2 on 2-4 floors, and it is also possible to divide the building into smaller units. The goal is for the premises to be environmentally friendly commercial, office and service premises, located in the best location in Hafnarfjörður and easily visible on one of the largest traffic arteries in the country, between Keflavík and the capital area. The architectural studio Lendager in Iceland has done a preliminary design for the building and focuses on reuse, natural materials and minimization of the construction's ecological footprint.
